JSBM TERMS & CONDITIONS

This statement sets out our Terms and Conditions for subscription(s) to JSBM.

Please read it before subscribing. When you confirm your subscription, you acknowledge these terms and conditions. Please direct requests for further information, or any questions regarding this statement to jsbmnewsletter@gmail.com.

1. SUBSCRIPTION AND CONTRACT

The only way to subscribe to JSBM is by visiting www.flatoutpublishing.com. You will receive a confirmation of your subscription by email within 2 working days of subscribing. Please add jsbmnewsletter@gmail.com to your list of contacts to make sure our messages will not be blocked or spammed.
We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including but not limited to availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. In such cases, we will notify you and refund any payment.

2. DELIVERY OF THE NEWSLETTER

Any order placed will commence with the next available issue. You are responsible for giving us the correct email address for delivery. We do not accept liability for refunding the cost of any newsletter(s) that are despatched to an incorrect given email address. In any case, please check your spambox if you think you have not received your newsletter(s). You are responsible for notifying us if you change your email address so we can update your subscription delivery details.

3. COPYRIGHT

A subscription is personal and cannot be shared by other employees within the same organisation. If you want more than one person to access the newsletter, please contact us for a special deal.

No part of the publication may be reproduced or copied for any reason or by any means - graphic, electronic or mechanical, including e-mailing, photocopying, recording, taping, information storage and retrieval systems or facsimile transmissions. All intellectual property rights in the magazine and/or any part of it, are owned exclusively by us throughout the world for the full period of copyright.

4. DELAYED DELIVERY/NON-DELIVERY

We will not be held liable for any delay of delivery or non-delivery of the newsletter as a result of the following circumstances: a) where payment has been refused via your card issuer and/or PayPal or Stripe is unable to process payment b) where you have failed to notify us of a change of email address.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Whether you have paid for a monthly or annual subscription, cancellations are not possible until the end of such a period, nor is partial cancellation or reimbursement possible.

How to manage your account and cancel

  • If you have subscribed through PayPal, have a PayPal account and wish to cancel your subscription, please do so through your account. Click here for more details.

  • If you have subscribed through PayPal but do not have a PayPal account, please contact us.

6. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

Subscriptions renew automatically, whether they are monthly or annual. It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment means are up to date. If PayPal or Stripe cannot proceed with your payment, you will be notified by email. It is also your responsibility, if you wish to cancel your subscription, to do so before the end of the chosen subscription period as, once renewed, each subscription will run its full term (please read paragraph about cancellations and refunds).

7. PRICES

Prices are clearly displayed online. The price which you agreed to for a subscription at that particular time and for the chosen period is the price you are contracted for.

8. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND USE OF YOUR DATA

The only information we have is the one you provide when subscribing (name, email, physical address). We only use the personal and transactional information you supply to fulfil your subscription. We do not have access to credit/debit card details, nor do we share subscriber details with third parties.
Whether you are using PayPal or Stripe, we would encourage you to read PayPal’s privacy statement or Stripe's privacy policy for further information on how they use and keep your data safe.

9. SECURITY AND PROCESSING PAYMENT

We confirm that we use reasonable efforts to ensure that purchasing your subscription through us is completely safe and secure, but we shall not be responsible for any loss of data or any other loss in the event that such security is compromised. In particular, we will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the personal information you provide us through PayPal or Stripe. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own credit/debit card details to avoid unauthorised use by a third party.

10. VARIATION AND REVIEW OF THESE TERMS

We keep these terms under regular review. We reserve the right to modify them at any time so we would encourage you to review them regularly. Changes and clarifications will take immediate effect upon their posting to the website. Once we have updated our terms and conditions online, you will automatically be bound by the revised terms and conditions.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.
